The GLC-SPIL International Law Journal (ILJ) is an esteemed annual publication from SPIL Mumbai, dedicated to fostering critical thought and dialogue in the field of international law. Aim and Scope

The GLC-SPIL International Law Journal (ILJ) aims to serve as a dynamic platform for advancing scholarship and dialogue in the field of international law. Published bi-annually by the students of Government Law College, Mumbai under the aegis of Students for the Promotion of International Law (SPIL), the Journal is committed to promoting high-quality, original, and impactful legal research. It welcomes contributions from students, academics, practitioners, and researchers across the globe.

The scope of the Journal encompasses all areas of Public and Private International Law, including but not limited to international trade law, humanitarian law, environmental law, human rights, dispute resolution, investment law, and international institutions. Beginning in the academic year 2025–26, the Journal will feature two issues annually: the first issue invites submissions on any general topic under the wide umbrella of international law, while the second issue will be thematically linked to the annual Government Law College International Law Summit, providing space for focused engagement with pressing global legal challenges.
