THEME

In an era marked by global integration and economic interdependence, international trade has become the lifeblood of the modern world. While it offers immense opportunities for growth, innovation, and prosperity, it also presents complex legal challenges that transcend national boundaries.

Recognising the significance of these dynamics, SPIL, Mumbai, has selected “International Trade Law” as the theme for the National Legal Article Writing Competition 2025. The selection of this theme underscores the pivotal role that law plays in regulating the global marketplace and ensuring that trade is not only free but also fair. Participants will delve into pressing issues such as tariff disputes, trade wars, the regulation of cross-border ecommerce, the role of the World Trade Organization, and the growing tension between trade liberalisation and protectionist policies.
